Niko Tether, a recent graduate from Heriot-Watt University, has joined us for a six month internship in software development.
After completing a HND in Mechanical Engineering at Edinburgh College and an MEng in Robotics, Automation & Interactive Systems at Heriot-Watt University, Niko wanted to gain experience with mobile development and found a stimulating environment in the KMsoft team.
Niko has experience in different software projects, including controlling robotic platforms autonomously or remotely. He has also worked on some small software development projects, such as a chatroom moderation bot.
During lockdown, Niko kept himself occupied by learning how to make 3D models and animate with Blender. His interests also include running and weightlifting.
As of now, Niko has been receiving guidance on KMsoft’s functioning from Pete Thomson, CEO and founder. Niko is looking forward to expanding his skillset working on improving KMsoft’s inventory management software, StockAssist, for maximum efficiency.
StockAssist, KMsoft’s stock management software, is made up of a web application and a mobile application which is available on a mobile computer. StockAssist offers a comprehensive, real-time and in-depth view of a company’s inventory. Working on ensuring the best possible experience for our customers through StockAssist is a fitting experience for a young software developer such as Niko!
