When Sciamed, a leading technology, mobile computing and barcoding solution provider to NHS Scotland, identified a need to upgrade their clients’ ordering portal, they had no doubt as to whom to contact.
Sciamed’s Director Stephen Henry got in touch with KMsoft, a company he has known for over 20 years. “When this new requirement arose, I decided to work with a trustworthy and reliable software provider and I couldn’t think of anyone better to deliver this project than KMsoft”, explained Stephen. “I identified a need to upgrade from fax ordering to an online portal, which would streamline my clients’ ordering process. KMsoft were briefed and delivered a bespoke portal on time, in full and within budget.”
The portal is currently used by GP surgeries across the country to place orders for items such as consumables and packaging. The specially-built portal also includes a tailor-made reporting functionality which allows Sciamed to create personalised monthly reports for their clients.
